Please don't merge all the conservation authorities into just a few! There will be a tremendous loss of knowledge and expertise not to mention local representatives. When consolidated,there will likely be job losses, too much area for each person to cover and people will likely be moved to a 'centralized' location where it will be impossible to react quickly to an emerging situation.
