I oppose the suggested exemption of certain facilities from all future planning and reporting obligations for certain substances. \every single day there are more rare diseases diagnosed in new borns and children from the slew of chemicals we are exposed to in our lives. Humans deserve to breath clean air, drink clean water etc. Industry must be responsible for cleaning up their acts. They are not the ones that have to live with these rare diseases our children are born with. Health care costs will only go up if pollutants from industry do not remain in check, and encouraged to be reduced.
The Toxics Reduction Act should remain as stringent as it is, and if not, more stringent.
