Kresin Engineering and Searchmont Ski Resort failed to document and include my consultation records accurately in this application.

I was assured (on multiple occasions) that all of my questions and concerns over phone, email, in person and in writing would be documented and included in the application with the ERO and the supporting documentation.

However, none of the specifics comments, questions or concerns I had during various consultation was included in the "Consultation Record Neighbouring Properties and Community Stakeholders" listed and some are missing entirely. Other members of the public have their comments, questions, and concerns listed / summarized but none of mine were.

I have expressed all of my concerns in a polite, clear, non-confrontational, non-agressive manner in great length.

During my initial conversation I expressed concern for water and air quality, aquatic health, environmental safety, well water quality, risk for recreational activities, impacts to endangered species, etc. Many of which could not be addressed (which I can understand if the information was not available at that time) but they should have been documented - as they were for others.

As consultation with Kresin Engineering and self-research went on, I continued to respectfully voice my questions and concerns for the operation of the WWTP, effluent waste, the actual and potential risks posed to human, aquatic and environmental health. And despite all attempts to satisfy my concerns, I have found (and voiced my concern) for the lack of transparency, inability to address questions and concerns around information presented in the ACS, and the devastating lack and avoidance of information provided during the public information center in July of 2025. Again, none of which has been documented.

This in itself greatly deteriorates my trust and confidence in Kresin Engineering and Searchmont Ski Resort and the operation of this WWTP. If my personal specific questions and concerns were not documented under consultation, it begs the question - how many other consultations were not documented or recorded in the supporting documentation? How many other summaries on that document were watered down or excluded all together? This is not OK.

I have also observed misquoted descriptions from other local residents whom I know are appalled to see what was summarized for their consultation. It's worry some to see entire entries missing from individuals who submitted written questions and concerns on physical forms provided and collected by Kresin Engineering and Searchmont Ski Resort during the Public Information Center in July of 2025.

The lack of due diligence with simply documenting and recording public consultation is unprofessional.

Kresin Engineering also advised all correspondence would be included in the review and that the MECP is aware that consultation will continue during the review process and that they will be providing updates on any comments recieved during the review process.
