The Conservation Authorities are a great success story for effective and efficient protection of the environment, with the participation of municipal governments. Consolidating them into large regional bodies will make it impossible for them to give the necessary attention to the many lakes and streams in those regions, and it is highly unlikely to save any money. Please do not ruin the wonderful Conservation Authority system.
