I feel it is important to only build in a community when there is the infrastructure in place to do so and there is not in mid town of Oakville. This is being pushed as a cash grab for the province to crame more people into a smaller space without thinking of the implications of the existing residence or without the town's full approval or listening to there concerns either. To me it sounds like a big money maker for the builders as they can cram in many floors into the towers and with the volume of units within them. Also there is no understanding of the implications to the natural surroundings of the close by 16 mile creek and how that also can effect the wilderness nearby with that many people and homeless living in that area. It is obvious there is a huge lack of concern or care for those homeless people living in that area which is shown by the provincial government and there lack of programs to help the homeless living in that area before the construction has even begun.
