The amalgamation of the Lakehead Regional Conservation Authority with the Huron authority makes no sense in any capacity. Two different great lakes separated by Lake Michigan and great distance. These areas are so different in almost every way. Different geography, weather patterns, wildlife, watershed to name a few. This will end up causing more problems than it will solve and we in Northwestern Ontario will be forgotten and ignored once again.
Who in their right mind thinks this makes any sense??
