I am opposed to this high density development plan. If you've ever observed the Oakville GO station during rush hour, the traffic is borderline-obscene, with many drivers resorting to aggressive and dangerous driving in order to get through the bottleneck intersections. This of course impedes anyone that isn't actually destined for Oakville GO station. Adding these many buildings and accompanying units will completely annihilate any chance at moving through the area in a reasonable amount of time. Also consider that just north of the proposed development area are the offramps from the QEW to Trafalgar, which is also a high traffic area during rush hour. Imagine the lineups that will clog the right lane of the QEW in both directions for people trying to get to Oakville GO - the thought is frightening.
As it stands, the traffic problems caused by a lack of access points to Oakville GO station will be aggravated by increasing the density of the area.
