This proposal is unnecessary and does not make any sense at all. While some amalgamations of conservation authorities could be understandable, such large areas would become very difficult for CA staff to administer. The Lake Erie Regional CA is massive, and the Huron Superior CA is absurd. Combining Lake Simcoe with the Saugeen River and Thunder Bay is unfathomable. How can this even be presented in a serious manner?
Please, either scrap this proposal entirely, or rework it into something at least somewhat useful.
