I don't support the MZO for the increased density in Oakville Midtown. Traffic in that area is already challenging during rush hour and adding 11,000 more people to the area is insane.
The city has a plan already, let them do their plan. They live in Oakville, vs the provincial government does not. We will be the ones thay have to deal with the aftermath of whatever is completed, and I trust the city to keep other residents in mind. I do not trust the government to do that - they appear to be trying to maximize profits at the expense of the local communities. Its actions like this (MZO to circumvent local government once again) that make me disappointed to call Ontario home, and will ultimately make me leave this province.
