This proposal is incredibly irresponsible. There are way too many buildings and units being proposed for an already unbelievably busy intersection in Oakville. Oakville does not have the infrastructure to support this many additional units and people in our community. People aren't moving to Oakville because they want to live in a high rise. They come looking for family homes..townhouses, detached homes. They want a small town community feel, not a city scape like Mississauga or Toronto. So many Oakville condo projects fail because it's not what the PEOPLE are looking for when wanting to move to this community, it's only what FORD is looking to promise to his developer friends. The Town of Oakville has submitted a very reasonable proposal that fits our community. It's incredibly disappointing the province is trying to ruin this great town yet again.
