The proposed TOC in Oakville…

The proposed TOC in Oakville is clearly an agenda to benefit certain people but not the community of Oakville. Oakville is a family-oriented community trying desperately to hold on to family oriented parks and green spaces, neighbourhoods where neighbours know your name and a feeling of belonging, safety and security.

Clearly the agenda being proposed is intended to destroy what is Oakville. Yes, Oakville is happy to have more families move in, so build townhomes where kids can play outside their door and on their street. To build towers is not just in complete contrast to Oakville’s philosophy, it is nonsensical.

Change the scope immediately. Bring homes and not shoeboxes into the community of Oakville.
