Consolidating all of these groups will do nothing to protect these conservation areas. Local groups understand their ecosystems better than a distant impartial board ever could. Ontario has done a horrible job maintaining and improving the Ontario Provincial Parks they are already responsible for. Visit Brontë Creek Provincial Park to see an example of how poorly the province is managing the parks they are responsible for.
