I must voice my concern for this proposal - as a long-time resident of Hamilton I have seen firsthand the care, dedication, and incredible work of the Hamilton Conservation Authority. Keeping decision-making at the local level has been critical to maintaining our city's incredibly important ecological environment, and a consolidation of conservation authorities would severely compromise this specificity and ability to make choices that are most critical for the community.
