I strongly oppose the plan to no longer require facilities with existing toxics reduction plans to review those plans, and exempt certain facilities from all future planning and reporting obligations. The key aspect to any plan is its continuous review and update to reflect changing conditions and new knowledge. To eliminate reporting obligations removes any incentive for businesses to do what they promised and what they said they would do relative to the environment. The risk to our ecosystems is simply too great to absolve businesses of planning and reporting on their progress and efforts.
