The repeal of this legislation concerns me because it would threaten human and wildlife health through increased exposure to toxic chemicals. Why is it a bad thing for companies to strategically minimize and reduce the use and emissions of hazardous materials in their operations which can cause harm to workers and the environment? Don't companies want healthy workers and facilities and happy neighbours to their facilities? While I understand that it sounds like you think the federal plan is more comprehensive, wouldn't it make sense to have some additional checks and balances here? And how would we know if companies were making improvements? Why are we going backwards here?
