I agree with HCA’s submission to the ERO. It makes more sense to address the shortcomings of the current system by providing clear guidelines and ensuring accountability from all conservation authorities using updated common infrastructure than to institute a whole new bureaucracy. We will lose local decision-making and I support keeping conservation decisions rooted in our community.
