As an Ontario resident I am strongly opposed to this proposal. This will undermine the effectiveness of the efficiency of the existing bodies that all have a unique understanding of the specific needs of their regions.
And that's to say nothing about the unnecessary costs of the proposal at a time when Ontario doesn't have money to waste!
Experts from across the province have weighed in on the topic and the general consensus is that this is a deeply harmful, wasteful, and costly proposal that will do far more harm than good.
