I agree with Hamilton Conservation Authority’s submission to the ERO.
Specifically,
1. I do not feel that the Province has provided evidence showing why the merger is needed.
2. I think that strong conservation depends on local relationships.
3. Key details remain unknown.
Generally, I am very suspicious about the true rationale for the proposed changes and am worried that they intend to weaken conservation!
