The amalgamation of Conservation Authorities is a terrible idea, for the people of Ontario, watershed management and local knowledge. Not only this, it will likely increase costs for residents of Ontario.
The management of the watersheds has been incredibly strong for decades, with local expertise helping secure the safety of residents, and preserve nature and in many cases the Greenbelt.
Unfortunately this is yet another attack on the Greenbelt, to push for housing types that aren’t a need, built by those who financially support the Ford government.
