I feel the system as is works extremely well and management of the watershed needs to continue to be under local observation and control. We have been managed for my entire lifetime by the current system and it has served us well. In 72 years in my area containing a large number of rivers and lakes including Georgian bay we have not had any significant flooding everything is managed well locally They monitor the problem areas and locally control the issues as they come up. How would this ever work from hundreds of miles away? This is a foolish plan and I strongly object!!!!
