the proposal to amalgamate The Lakehead Regional Conservation Authority with another that is over 1000 mikes away and on a different Great Lake is absurd ! The LRCA covers a huge geographical area already and they do an outstanding job. If amalgamation is a must, then the only thing that might make some sense is to do so with the Authority in the Sault Ste Marie area which is 1/2 the distance away and on the same lake at least.
