I object to the Ontario government's proposal to consolidate 36 Conservation Authorities into just seven. The cost of reducing administration expenses will lessen oversight and protection of vast areas of wetlands and lakes which account for our precious and natural fresh water. Ontarians do not need more urban sprawl and road expansion into our green spaces. We need our provincial government to value the land and wild spaces. Please withdraw the ridiculous proposal to amalgamate provincial Conservation Authorities and instead strengthen the organizations that now exist to enable them to better protect our hereditary lands and natural environments. Please, please please!!!!!
