The,amalgamation of conservation authorities is,a terrible idea.
This government continue to demonstrate they want to pave over areas that are designated as Green Spaces. It started with the Greenbelt and they were caught and have since moved back from that. They have changed the,Species at Risk designation in order to run through the highway 413. The list goes on.
I rest my case reducing the number of conservation authorities is a terrible idea, especially from this government, for it would be another reason for them to have less oversight over what takes place in those areas.
