As a voter and taxpayer, I am vehemently opposed to this amalgamation, especially because it is clear from the reasons presented that the Provincial Government wants to build/develop protected watershed lands. That may be a Doug Ford priority, but it is NOT a priority for the people of Ontario. Here's a quote from the details published in case it's needed:
