I urge this to be reconsidered. The vast rang of land proves that it can not be treated as one big simplified region. This would further add complexities and delays which is the opposite of what is trying to be achieved. I agree with the NVCA that “If the Province continues to explore consolidation, there are more coherent alternatives,...A model focusing on consolidating Georgian Bay–area authorities would better reflect shared geography, reduce transition costs and maintain the local accountability our municipalities rely on.”
