Having volunteered with our local Conservation Authority and having grandchildren who have worked with our local Authority, I am most vigorously opposed to the proposed amalgamation of our Provincial Conservation Authorities.
For me, the key phrase in the proposal is to speed up development permission for developers. This goes against the exact reasons Conservation Authorities were initially formed!
Please reconsider this ill conceived change to the current structure and Conservation Authority Boundaries.
