I have used the hike, bike, ski, snowshoe trails of the Sault Ste Marie conservation authority for years and these natural resources and facilities need to be managed locally.
The north is too large and varied to have remote oversight.
I have been to other conservation areas in southern Ontario and find that they appear to be operated differently, fees/no fees vary, as well as differing facilities, websites, programs etc.
I am in support of the conservation authorities being streamlined and consistent across the province .
