Searchmont Ski Resort is American-owned and becoming more and more noticeable for poor communication, lack of transparency and greed. There are mounting concerns over its lack of response to public input regarding its wastewater proposal - which is now escalating in parallel with its unfair and misleading ski pass pricing and poor customer service. What is the Ontario government doing regarding taking these concerns seriously? With environmental regs lessening, one would hope that an American company poised to cause environmental damage to Ontarians - and one that continues to disregard public input - goes against the spirit of self regulation. Please help make our public service still matter. This issue is not going away and local voices are starting to get louder. We need to know Northern Ontario voices still matter - not just Toronto voices.
