OPA 70 would build homes faster.
The viability and economic case for these MZOs and this project has collapsed. The condominium market has changed and no longer supports high rise projects that are mainly studios and one bedroom units as proposed in this TOC. Oakville needs family oriented complete community housing not investor driven micro units. The project is at least five years out so there is no good reason for for imposing these MZOs now. Only the developer benefits.
OPA 70 will deliver a community supported plan that is aligned with the changing market.
