I live on the Goulais River, recently moved out here from the city of Sault Ste marie. There is no guarantee that ZERO effects on the river will take place from this new treatment facility being proposed. Accidents always happen and this river system is an important tributary for tourism, locals and strong feeder for Lake Superior. It has a delicate trout population, aquatic life and other marine dependent animals. This is a mistake and we shouldn't cater to rich owners and wealthy people while middle to low class locals on the river can suffer the consequences. The rights of indigenous should be considered here as well.
