Comment
I am a resident of Oakville and I oppose the proposed use of Minister’s Zoning Orders (MZOs) to implement the Transit-Oriented Community (TOC) in Midtown Oakville.
High-density development of this scale will place significant pressure on transportation, community services, and quality of life. Decisions with permanent impacts should respect municipal planning and meaningful public input.
I am also concerned that this consultation process relies on voluntary submissions and that silence may be interpreted as support, which does not accurately reflect community consensus or genuine public opinion.
I respectfully request that the Province not proceed with these MZOs.
