In this day and age we are trying to clean up the environment not pollute. I don’t know why anyone would even think of dumping waste water into a river. So many human and wildlife are supported by this river. The Goulais River residents depend on clean unpolluted water. So many children play in this river. Look at what happened to the St. Mary’s River after years of dumping sewage, not safe to swim in, we’re told not to eat the fish. In my opinion you are putting the health of the river, families, future families and wildlife at risk as well as bringing property values down. All this to save money for ONE local business. Find an environmentally safe solution. We do not need to read in a few years about the health problems of Goulais residents due to cancers or other health risks. It is no longer acceptable to pollute our environment. This decision should be an easy on, protect our environment, protect LIFE! Do the right thing!
