The TOC proposal for the Town of Oakville is a massively overbuilt proposal resulting in excessive density and overwhelming existing and future infrastructure. I can't help but think that the motivation for accepting this plan over the Council-supported development is more political and financial than based on any other rational decision making. This is certainly not in the best interests of the present and future residents of this community. It may however be in the best interests of the developers and politicians involved in the proposal. I would be very interested in seeing any evidence to the contrary if it exists.
