Its unfathomable that in 2026 we're talking about dumping sewage, treated or otherwise, into a river.
In no way, should a private company be able to damage a public resource in this way. If the operator of the ski resort wants to increase their capacity, they should determine how to do so without polluting a public waterway, or putting groundwater at risk.
In addition, many other businesses use this river to host tourists as guides. Damaging the integrity of the river will impact their livelihoods.
