This proposal will hurt small locally owned Canadian businesses like Driftwood Valley Chalets, Cozy Cottages, Ashtons Bed and Breakfast, Mountainview Lodge, Bellevue Valley Lodge, Tiny Chalets and all of the other rentals and small outfitters, touring guides businesses located in Searchmont. The resort intends to be year round operational and they will take this business from the ones who need it most.
