The high density suggested will make it almost impossible for people in the area to be able to move around on the roads that presently exist. Trafalgar road and the QEW are already a nightmare. People do not walk or ride bikes as their main means of transport for most of the year. These are generally seen as leisure activities not ways to go to work or shop.Few people are willing to stand waiting for buses in extremely hot, humid or very cold days, which collectively account for a lot of the year.
I cannot imagine the strain on the present infrastructure when all the proposed occupants are flushing toilets and taking showers at 7 am.
Growth needs to be in lock step with the towns ability to maintain the things that make it truly liveable, leave local development to the people who really do know what the people of Oakville want and are able to plan for growth. Oakville has a well thought out plan, allow it to execute it.
