This area already borders on over-development. Trying to drive through the area around 5 pm when the Go Train is the most active is almost impossible. A left hand turn on to Trafalgar Rd. is an exercise in frustration, no matter how long the advance green light might be.
The proposed development(s) will create a population density that will make the area uninhabitable. This area will turn into a slum area like those we see in overly dense cities around the world - why do we need that in our beautiful town. There is currently an abundance of development in Oakville, just drive a few minutes north of the Go Station and you'll see building after building of new condos, apartments and townhouses.
There a plenty of towns in Ontario that need assistance in their development and growth. One of the problems we have in this Province and Country is the overcrowding around the GTA. Let's work to get cities, towns and villages that are further out from the GTA needed assistance in job growth and development. Let's not take the lazy way out and just approve something in Oakville just for the sake of saying the Government is doing something on housing. We can do better!!! Do your job!!
