Absolutely not. Lake scugog has surrounding fish sanctuaries that would be impacted from draught in the summer when rain is low. The walleye is a closed season fish due to the health of the lake. Why make that worse for the fish?

Bowmanville creek has dropped multiple feet in depth in the last 20 years. The original creek used to be 10+ feet deep in some areas. Again, why are you taking water from here? The creek has barely a trickle of water compared to what it used to be.

Pigeon river is home to a native brook trout population. Brook trout are an extremely delicate fish and require very specific conditions.

We have great lakes and oceans to take water from. Leave our small fisheries alone. Over multiple years you are going to ruin these water systems.
