With the fluctuations in lake Scugog’s water level, I would think pumping this much water out of the lake would cause further issues to lake levels and the lake health. As lake Scugog is the head of the lock system and is already used to ensure other bodies of water are kept with usable levels, it would be detrimental to lake Scugog to further support this kind of water loss. Lake Scugog’s water should not be used by private businesses for financial gain.
