As a young adult, I whole heartily disagree with this reckless and blatant disregard for planning for our collective future by scraping Ontario's cities' ability to require buildings to be built in such a way that they will help mitigate the climate crisis. If the provincial government is hell bent on building more homes fast, at least allow those homes to be built in a way that helps reduce the horrors that will be hitting our cities in the near future. Climate friendly initiatives required by cities for building new homes and apartments are already not stringent enough, but to scrap these all together is ludicrous!
