The Province is making a mistake with the passing of Bill 98. Bill 98 will destroy industry and hurt Ontario's economy at a time when we should be developing local industries and reducing our reliance on the United States. Bill 98 will result in worse buildings across the province and will increase the costs for maintenance in the future. Additionally, Bill 98 is a clear overreach on municipalities' ability to develop and grow and an afront on the freedoms of its residents. The Province should put the interests of its residents over the interests of the Premier's developer friends.
