The fascination of this government with the City of Toronto is astounding. Please spend time, money and efforts on the rest of the province. There is no reason to take over the Toronto Transit Commission. Inevitably, it will end up contracted out to Metrolinx who have a proven track record of corruption and exceeding budgets. The Ontario Line was meant to be built years ago (as was the Eglinton Crosstown) and all have been botched by government overreach and forced privatization. Privatization inevitably means worse services.
