# 1 I am very concerned that the government of Ontario does not want to know exactly what toxic substances a company is sending out into the environment. Look what happened before in Hamilton Ontario, the Randle Reef of the Hamilton Harbour so highly toxic that the dredging phase is costing $139 million, an industry who created jobs and the company bosses got very rich of their business, ahs left us the tax payer to clean up their mess and so the workers pay again. We drink that water comes out of Lake Ontario.
I want to know what toxic substances are being produced and where they go from any company/ industry that produces them . The company must be responsible for cleaning up any toxic levels that are over and above 2019 acceptable levels, but if they go unreported then they again will leave the mess for our next generation to clean up.
Please STOP this legislation right now as it a backwards step.
