I am opposed
“The Toxics Reduction Program has not achieved meaningful reductions. Preliminary results indicate an overall reduction of 0.04% of substances used, created and released for all regulated facilities.” From your own ero site.
Increase penalties and fines on companies that cannot, will not, keep track of or quantify which/what toxic chemicals they use! Do not make it easier for them to pollute or claim ignorance of pollution.
In Hamilton no one “knows wink wink” who polluted the Randall Reef. Who was tracking and counting?
I say redundancy in important matters is crucial to success to a healthy environment. If Ontario Toxic Substance duplicates federal act then good.
