Healthy green spaces attract people and jobs for the long term (along with other investments such as public transit and robust public services). Dirty drinking water and polluted soils hurt the people of Ontario. Reputable, ethical businesses generally want to attract a motivated, talented work force and those people usually value healthy green spaces. Government provisions specifically targeted to jobs too often come to a sad end. Consider the case of GM--supported by the federal government after the 2008 financial crisis and closing the plant--costing jobs--ten years later. Please remove Schedule 10. Do not sacrifice the environment of the People of Ontario for a chimera.
