This Bill is terrible and I do not support it. It totally undermines the purpose of zoning to protect farmland, water, and air from the impacts of industry. It undermines the purpose of the Provincial Policy Statement. It would encourage urban sprawl and the loss of our already limited amount of agricultural land. Community members would not be able to appeal to the Local Planning appeal Tribunal.
