I strongly object to removing the requirement that industries report on the toxic substances they release and work with the Ministry of the Environment to prevent and remove these substances from the operations.
The health and safety of the workers and those who live in the province will be at risk if this provision is removed. Creating jobs at any cost - will not benefit communities if its residents get ill and are ultimately unable to work.
