I do not support the repeal of the TRA. It is time we put stricter regulations and have more eyes on industry to comply with reducing the use of and emissions of toxic chemicals. I do not support the deregulation of environmental legislation for industry when it comes to safeguarding public health and safety and environmental health.
I do not support this proposed repeal as part of Bill 66. It is reckless and if reducing toxic emissions is too onerous for new or existing industry in Ontario I do not support these industries in this province.
I did not vote for the PC government. I do not support their attack on legislative provisions put in place to keep industries accountable to the community and the environment. I do not support the repeal of the TRA.
