Under the Asset Management…

Under the Asset Management Policy the regulation outlines a number of areas to be considered in the AM Policy relating to climate change and GHG Reductions. I think this should be revised or, like in other sections, give different considerations to different sized municipalities. Given the limited capacities of small municipalities, considering climate change in an AM policy may be outside the capacity of the limited human resources that are available to be devoted to Asset Management. Further there is consideration for GHG reduction goals and targets. This is already being considered in the municipalities Energy Conservation and Demand Management Plan as required under O.Reg 397/11 therefore I don not feel that it needs to be reiterated in another Policy.
