Finally! it looks like we are beginning to value the economic and environmental benefits that our trees, soils, creeks, rivers and other natural components offer to sustain our basic existence. that is : our Green Infrastructure! Our trees do offer benefits to our air quality, water management, shade and cooling, and our mental health. The Value of what a tree offers is greater than the sum of what it would cost to remove it. Lets start to value our green infrastructure in our city and provincial planning!
